SOLUTIONS
Stop paying for bot clicks and installs
Find clicks and installs that come from servers, crawlers and proxy networks instead of people.
The problem
A share of every campaign’s clicks and installs never had a person behind it. They come from data centers, crawlers and proxy networks, and you pay for them like for real visitors.
What you get for each address
- Network type: hosting, cloud, CDN or search engine crawler
- Bot and scraper detection, with how many services agree
- Fraud scores for the addresses that pass the first filter
A rule to start with
Mark a click as not billable when the network type is hosting or cloud, or when at least two services detect a bot or a scraper. Count search engine traffic as crawlers, not visitors.
An example to adapt, not a threshold we recommend. Every field is in the API reference.
