What we collect

When you run a check, we process and store the result of that check: your public IP address (IPv4 and IPv6), its approximate location, ISP and network (ASN), response time, the DNS resolvers and WebRTC addresses detected, the operating system your connection appears to use, and basic data your browser sends with the request (user agent, timezone and language).

The page keeps a random id in your browser's local storage, so your repeat checks count as one visitor in the visitor counts. It is not a cookie and is not linked to your identity.

This tool is a network check only. It does not read your screen, canvas, fonts or other device fingerprints.

How we use it

We use the data to show you the results, to produce statistics and to improve the service. Results are stored in a database on our server and there is no fixed deletion schedule.

Cookies and third parties

The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. Visit statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify visitors. We do not sell your data. The web pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site under its own policies. The measurement servers (probe*.myipcheck.net) are not behind Cloudflare.
