What the service does

myipcheck.net shows the public IP address your connection uses, an estimate of its location and network, and runs a few network tests from your browser: response time, the connection's TCP/IP fingerprint, DNS resolver detection and WebRTC address detection. It is a free informational tool.

No guarantees

Results are provided as they are, without any warranty. Location and network data come from a database and are approximate; operating-system and tunnel indications are guesses based on clues and can be wrong. Do not rely on this tool as your only security check.

Acceptable use

You may use the website for personal checks and reasonable automated use. Please do not overload the servers, try to bypass the rate limits, probe or attack the service, or use it to harm others. We may limit or block abusive traffic.

Availability and changes

The service may change, be interrupted or be discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. How data is handled is described in the privacy notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this service.
